In our weekend reader this past week, we opined that “something odd is going on with our relationship with Russia.” Again, we were right on the money.

The FBI has arrested 10 Russian spies who were in the United States for over 10 years to “become sufficiently ‘Americanized’ such that they can gather information about the United States for Russia” and recruit sources from “United States policy-making circles.” An 11th Russian spy was arrested in Cypress. Their mission was to gather intelligence on the US’ nuclear weapons, U.S. arms control positions, Iran, White House rumors, CIA leadership turnover.

Obama’s response to the matter? He has declined to comment.

What kind of President would have no comment on such a troubling matter? Only the kind who do not have America’s best interests at heart.
